Fairytale ha un videoclip. E il videoclip è uscito un paio di giorni fa, ovvero 5 (e dico CINQUE) mesi dopo il primo live della canzone alla terza semifinale del melodi grand prix. Utile, no? Il video mostra Rybak suonare e due (e il terzo? °O°) ballerini che ballano dietro Rybak. Il più del lavoro è stato fatto in post-produzione (ah, il mitico sfondo verde che rende possibile l'aggiunta di effetti...!). Ho due domande:
1) dopo cinque mesi era proprio necessario fare un video? Capisco che mandare in rotazione il live della nf sia brutto, ma ce ne accorgiamo ora?
2) se proprio era necessario perché fare un video simile? Perché non spendere qualche corona in più? Su, questa canzone ha vinto l'esc! Spendiamo un po'! Almeno diamogli una trama!

Go Barcelona! ...wtf?

Terza canzone per lo jesc09. Stavolta tocca all'Armenia, che manda una ragazzina che abita in Russia ma che ha mantenuto la cittadinanza armena. Luara Hayrapetyan è un'undicenne che ha nel suo piccolo ha un record: è l'unica (parlando di jesc) ad aver preso parte a due diverse nf, nel 2006 in Russia, nel 2008 e nel 2009 (nah, davvero?) a quelle armene. A quanto pare il suo nome "artistico" è Lara.
Introdotta la cantante andiamo alla canzone. Ebbene sì. L'Armenia ha scelto una canzone intitolata Barcelona. Partecipasse la Spagna sarebbero 12 assicurati, ma siccome non partecipa... Voi vi chiederete "parlerà di una vacanza in Spagna?" e io vi rispondo che parla della squadra di calcio. Non scherzo. Le tizie sul palco sono vestite con i colori blaugrana del Barcellona e non so di preciso cosa dica la canzone, ma il fatto che una canzone armena parli di una squadra di calcio spagnola mi diverte (e un po' mi terrorizza). Va detto che però la canzone è simpaticamente casinara, esattamente da jesc.

Sì, lo so. Fa un pochino ridere, a primo impatto. Poi potrebbe capitarvi di pensare "però... non è male!", ma non è grave.
Il nuovo singolo di Ola (che anticipa il suo terzo album, in uscita prima o poi) si intitola Sky's the limit ed è stato presentato al Lotta på Liseberg (praticamente l'allsång di Göteborg) il 22 giugno. Gli autori sono -oltre a Ola- Keione e Json, cosa che per un attimo mi ha fatto temere una svolta r'n'b di Ola. Timore infondato, Ola è sempre Ola. Musicalmente Sky's the limit segue un la strada aperta da Feelgood, e non è un male.
